Rugby League World Cup 2013 joins forces with EZE Group

Rugby League World Cup 2013 is delighted to unveil another commercial partnership ahead of Saturday’s Rugby leaugebig kick-off, with the agreement of a sponsorship deal with leisure, entertainment and lifestyle providers EZE Group.

As bespoke suppliers to the entertainment and leisure industry, EZE Group provides a host of leisure and lifestyle options for those planning their free time.

EZE Group will enjoy fantastic exposure through their partnership with the global sporting event of 2013 with the company’s distinctive branding appearing on pitch-side perimeter boards on match days. The agreement also includes extensive hospitality rights.

It is the first time in 13 years that the Rugby League World Cup has returned to the UK and matches are scheduled to take place across 21 venues including Wembley Stadium, The Millennium Stadium, Cardiff and Old Trafford, Manchester.

EZE Group Commercial Director Abdul Rashid said: “We are delighted to be supporting Rugby League World Cup 2013, which is a major international sporting event.

“It is a brilliant shop window for promoting our brand to the millions of spectators watching games live or on television.”

Rugby League World Cup 2013 General Manager Sally Bolton said: “This partnership represents yet another new brand being welcomed to the sport, and there’s no better way to start than at our biggest ever international tournament.

“EZE Group offers an unique service and are already strongly associated with sport through their partnership with Birmingham City FC. It is pleasing that they have chosen Rugby League World Cup 2013 as their next commercial investment.”

Rugby League World Cup 2013 begins on Saturday, with a fantastic Opening Ceremony and explosive double header of matches under the roof at Cardiff’s Millennium Stadium.

England will clash with arch-rivals Australia in arguably the sport’s biggest match, and co-hosts Wales will meet Italy, barely a week after both sides recorded impressive wins in their warm-up matches.
